After getting to know Patty & John during their Chicago engagement session we were very excited about their wedding day. John and Patty have dated since ninth grade and this wedding was a true celebration of love. We were just happy to be a part of it. I spent most of the early part of the day hanging out with John and the boys and what a blast it was, we had football on the flat screen, old school hip hop on the Ipod, a little Johnny Walker and a bunch of guys ready to party (I love being a guy, no hair & makeup for us ;-). Meanwhile TJ and Jennifer were busy capturing details while the girls got ready. Patty became our first bride not to break down at some point during prep (you go gurrrrl!!!). Although FL weather changed our shooting plans, we were still able to steal a quick "first look" at the Biltmore right before the ceremony. After all was said and done, their wedding day turned out to be an unforgettable experience. Their first dance was amazing. I had goosebumps and a smile during the whole song. This is one of those weddings where you plan one thing, South Florida weather changes your plans, and having great people to work with helps you make the best of the day. My advice for future brides is to plan your perfect day, but be ready to adapt and enjoy your wedding no matter what happens. CONGRATS PATTY & JOHN!!! We love you guys.
